| Suggestions for venue in NYC | Jun 23, 2008 |
Hi Angio - Would it be helpful, since I live here in NYC, to help you find a locale for the powwow? Do you prefer quiet restaurant, outside seating at a cafe, in a bar,...what's worked best in the past? It might also be helpful to know the neighborhoods in which everyone is staying to try to find something central to everyone (a challenge, I know, but worth a try). Since we're not secure on a date, I can try to find a venue that doesn't require reservations. Are we seven people?

It would be very helpful if you know some nice place, in the 2 powwow I attended we had a lunch together in a Restaurant, regarding the location, we will be based in Brooklyn but I think that Manhattan is better, do you agree? As for the number I don't know since many people did not confirm yet.
We will be in touch when we will be there, we will leave on Friday! Can't wait!

The following are my suggestions for NY Restaurants:
-The Cookshop (20 St/10 Avenue 212-924-4440)
-Barbounia (250 Park Avenue South/20 St. 212-995-0242)
They are really nice places, the food is good, but we must reserve ahead of time especially for large parties.
