Me too. I had to scramble to get French nationality in between the "referendum" and actual Brexit. And the first step to getting French nationality was to renew my British one, so I got only two years' worth of use out of the British passport.
The UK government set up a website for EU nationals living in the UK but did strictly nothing for UK nationals in the EU, it's disgraceful. I know quite a few Brits now living in France illegally, because they don't have enough earnings to qualify for a residence permit, and they have no family who could help them should they have to return to the UK, so they are now stranded here.
