Hi, I am a Conference Interpreter and I have been offered telephone interpreting. What is a decent per-minute rate for telephone interpreting?
Kind regards,
Mary Guerrero

There are three major companies in the US that provide telephonic interpretation and these charge $132.00 per hour to client. Use that to figure out how much the agency is keeping as a commission.

About $80/hour Jul 13, 2014

in the US--30 min minimum. The agency should not really keep more than 40%. It used to even be the law--in some industries--I am not sure if it is anymore.
