I'd like to know what the best term would be to describe this service given it is not traditional interpreting.
Well, from your description it sounds like what you're doing is delayed consecutive interpretation.
I guess it would depend on if you are only relaying information. Are you able to answer questions for which you already know the answer to or give additional information without having to call back your client and see what they have to say?
