I'm having trouble with a rather odd spam e-mail I can't get rid of; maybe someone can give me a tip?

I keep receiving exactly the same e-mail: same wording, same date sent and (oddly) received - even one I got today is still dated April 8th, which is the date the first one arrived. The only difference in the header is something labelled the "GMX-UID" (I have gmx.de ProMail).

They "arrive" every 15 minutes or so.

I've set up some special filters to stop them at gmx.de which theoretically should not let them in, as they all have the same subject line and I included that in the filter.

In fact, I don't think they are really coming from gmx.de, but that Outlook might be creating them itself, as I keep copies of the e-mails on the server, and there are only two there, instead of the hundreds in Outlook.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Delete it from the server Apr 20, 2007

Hi Anne,

I have had this problem several times. The ultimate solution seems to be to delete the mail from the server, because as long as it's on the server, it can still be sent and it is possible for the mail to get stuck in a neverending loop.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

Sarah
