Since I am currently studying full time, I am not able to take on new clients. Currently busy with two clients and a master's degree. Cannot take new assignments until perhaps next year. Fully booked all summer with Viking Age proofreading and Top Gear travel translations! Finishing off some chemistry (with a chemist proofreader, phew!), and negotiating scientific magazine proofreading. Looks interesting! Translating and editing a new version of Sarah van Hee's A lecture for every one, to be broadcast on Swedish National Radio. Great fun! http://www.sarahvanhee.com/lectureforeveryone (edited) More miniature trucks & cars translated into Swedish. Cute cars! Proofreading Swedish gardening texts about late summer blossoms… Proofreading Swedish gardening texts, and then I'll translate some showbiz from English into Swedish. Nice week, this one. (edited) Cookies (but no cream) and security issues translated from Dutch into Swedish. Then more gardening proofreading! Insurance information, privacy and (digital) cookies translated into Swedish. Where are the chocolate chip ones? :) Proofreading curricula for the university of Stockholm. Important work for all students! (edited) First issue of MTB Sweden magazine for 2017, translating articles from Dutch. Fun! Translating from Norwegian on electronic archives. Interesting!
Finishing an EU translation from French and getting ready for a mountainbike translation from Dutch! Translating from French about electricity grids for the EU. Interesting! Translating a certificate from the episcopate of Rijeka (Croatia) from Latin into Swedish. Tiny but interesting assignment!
(edited) Translating product descriptions for a package so the Swedish users won't have to read Dutch ;) Korrektur av Allt om Trädgård – tidningen med de bästa odlingsråden och trädgårdstipsen från Sveriges ledande experter. Translating a mountain bike magazine – 4 issues a year for 4 years, that's a speciality by now. Some typical terms:
