Bio
I'm a German and Portuguese-English translator with experience in user interface and management, in e-commerce, marketing, and education.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Portuguese and German by Universidade de São Paulo, among the top 5 universities in Latin America.
Although my degree is in German, I taught myself English and got a Certificate of Advanced English by University of Cambridge when I was 15.
You can see more information on my LinkedIn profile, but my recent history is I've worked as an internal project manager/translator in companies that value customers' trust.
Most recently I managed and operated localization for Amazon.com.br, from launching new interfaces such as Seller Central to translating specific complex product categorization. Before that, I managed and operated US-State-Department-certified translation of academic documents (transcripts, certificates, letters of recommendation) for students applying to universities in the US.
I'm deeply passionate about quality, with a great eye for detail. I am also transparent with clients and prefer to leave communication open rather than making assumptions.
Among my personal interests are politics, history, culture, writing and reading literature, games (videogaming, PC, cards, chess, checkers, poker, you name it) and education, in that order.
