With 27 years of experience as Translator and Interpreter, I have worked with clients all over the world and have always received positive feedback from them. I am a fully-accredited Court Interpreter at the Ontario Ministry of Attorney General and a Translator and a former Interpreter of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada; In addition, I have 16 years of experience as a Cultural Interpreter/Translator, have completed a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Major in Journalism, and had worked as a Freelance writer and newspaper columnist for seven years with focus on lifestyle, religion and feature stories for the local newspaper in Cornwall, Ontario and for family magazines in the Philippines; Previously, I had worked as a business magazine Feature writer after graduating from college. After immigrating to Canada, I held a position as Executive Director for an immigrant settlement services agency in Cornwall, Ontario for 18 years. I am currently engaged in my business as a full-time translator and interpreter and am loving what I am doing each day!
