I am a highly qualified and professional translator with a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Leeds (2003) and a Masters degree in Technical and Specialised Translation from the University of Westminster (2007).

I am a native English speaker who translates only into English. I have also gained a variety of work experience both at home and abroad, having worked as an English teacher in London, Paris, in Neuquen, Argentina and in Madrid, Spain where I lived for four years. These experiences abroad have all helped me to hone my linguistic skills in both French and Spanish as well as increasing my awareness of English grammar.

I worked in the International Transport Workers' Federation in London which helped me increase me knowledge of International Labour laws as well leading to an interest in law in general. I also worked in a Notary firm in London before moving to Madrid where I gained experience of translating and certifying legal texts.

I have a good knowledge of legal terminology from Spanish into English having lived in Madrid and worked as an In-house translator of legal texts. I have also carried out a variety of translation work for translation agencies in Madrid and London and have carried out proofreading and post-editing work from a variety of languages into English.
