Bio
I'm Laura, an Italian native speaker and freelance translator with experience in translation project management.
I translate from German and French into Italian and offer translation as well as proofreading, localization, transcreation and post-editing services. I specialize in marketing/e-commerce, but also in art, literature, tourism, travel and multimedia.
During my experience as a translation manager, I learned how to meet clients' needs, to be precise and to respect every deadline. Moreover, working closely with translators allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the translation industry challenges.
I have a Bachelor's degree in applied interlingual communication and languages have always been part of my life. Since a couple of years I've developed a passion for audiovisual translation and I have been working on it ever since.
