Bio
I am used to working on urgent, complex and confidential translation projects.
✦I am sworn (notarized) translator:
According to the legal procedure, I can translate your documents that need to be prepared as a sworn translator and notarized, approve them as a sworn translator and deliver them to you as notarized.
✦I offer flexibility:
No matter the size of your translation; 1 or 1,500 page article… 1 minute or 5 hour audio recording…
I provide results checked for quality and consistency:
Often the issues of quality and consistency are overlooked in translations. These are indispensable for me.
In addition, I am preparing guides to be used in quality and consistency issues in order to provide professional communication and correspondence for environments where Chinese and English language pairs are used simultaneously (such as workplaces, schools).
✦I have many hats that provide me with knowledge on different subjects:
Thanks to each project I was involved in in the film industry, I gained detailed and educational knowledge and experience about a different subject.
Likewise, my foreign guests, who are experts in their fields and sometimes very well-known academicians and politicians from different levels and professions, to whom I have provided guidance, have also contributed greatly to my knowledge and experience.
While I was working in the law firm, I specialized in legal translations, and my thirty-year tourism background enabled me to specialize in tourism-related translations.
On top of all this, the fact that I'm actively involved in some arts, sports and gourmet activities, if we add that I'm an inveterate reader, contributes to my versatility and to start my translations with ready knowledge on many subjects.
But learning has no end, and every translation becomes a tool for new research and learning.
