Source text - English Directional drilling is a trenchless installation method for both sewers and pressure pipes in renovations as well as in laying new pipelines. The method involves drilling a hole in the ground using a special bore head and metal bars connected to it, and the pipe is installed into the hole. It is possible to install a pipe as long as over 1000 m in a single haul. It is also possible to install several small-diameter pipes simultaneously.

Oxidationsbitumentanks können mit Wärmeleitöl, Dampf, elektrisch oder mit Flammrohren beheizt werden. Wenn ein Tank entleert wird, der mit Heizschlangen ausgestattet ist, muß Vorsorge getroffen werden, daß der Flüssigkeitsstand mindestens 150 mm über den Heizschlangen beträgt, bis die Wärmezufuhr abgeschaltet wurde.
Die Temperatur des Oxidationsbitumens soll möglichst niedrig gehalten werden, aber eine angemessene Pumpleistung muß gewährleistet sein.
