I am a freelance Spanish-English translator and interpreter based in New Orleans, Louisiana. My specializations include legal and healthcare translations; I also have strong linguistic domains in economics and business-related subjects.

I first unearthed my passion for translation and interpreting during a semester in Valparaiso, Chile in 2014, where I began to translate academia and interpret informally. Since then, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, took up a yearlong residency in Colombia, and returned to the United States to interpret for Arkansas Spanish Interpreters and Translators. I came down to the Deep South to attend Loyola University New Orleans, where I completed a Certificate in Healthcare and Legal Translation and Interpreting. I have worked with a local non-profit healthcare system as well as the area’s major low-income law office, doing a variety of translation and interpreting work at both internships.
