میدان امین‌السلطان یکی از قدیمی‌ترین میادین شهر تهران است که در اواسط دوره قاجار، توسط ابراهیم‌خان امین‌السلطان در نزدیکی دروازه حضرت عبدالعظیم به‌عنوان میدان تره‌بار احداث شد و تا مدت‌ها نیز همین نام را یدک می‌کشید. در حقیقت، میدان از شمال و جنوب با راسته‌بازار حضرتی به مجموعه بازار تهران متصل می‌شد که در دهه‌های اخیر طی تحولات شهر و در پی احداث خیابان صاحب جم که از میان این میدان قدیمی گذشت، انسجام خود را از دست داد و به‌مرور با مصالح موقت، حجره‌هایی در طرفین خیابان جدیدالاحداث ایجاد شد. نکته قابل‌تأمل اینکه با در نظر گرفتن تغییرات سایر میادین دوره قاجار که در عصر پهلوی صورت گرفت و صورت آن در اسناد سالانه نشریه بلدیه آمده است، می‌توان میدان امین‌السلطان را دست‌نخورده‌ترین میدان عصر قاجار دانست.
Translation - English 1. Amin al Sultan Square
Amin al Sultan Square is one of the oldest squares in Tehran and was built by Ibrahim-khan Amin al Sultan, in the middle of Qajar dynasty, near Abd al Azim Gate. It was built to function as a fresh vegetables market and, for some time, was named so.
The Hazrati bazaar that ran through this square linked it to the Grand Bazaar on the northern and southern ends. Unfortunately, during recent decades, in the wake of urban developments and construction of Saheb Jam Street, which passes through Amin al Sultan Square, it has lost its structural integrity. New stores have been built using modern construction material along the recently-built street to remedy that. A point to bear in mind is that, considering the changes and improvements that were made during Pahlavi era to other squares in Tehran that belonged to Qajar period (records of which can be found in Baladieh annals), Amin al Sultan Square is arguably the most untouched.

As a young translator who is deeply invested in western, and specially American, culture I am sure I can be of help in localizing video games, pop culture, and literary translations you might be considering.
I began my career in translation when I was a senior in high school and after that I followed a professional and academic way in translation by studying Translation Studies in two of the best universities in Iran for my BA and then MA. Over the course of these years I have translated roughly 400 thousand word in different fields and I have published two translated books which are better described in my CV. Furthermore, I have worked as a writer and translator for two video gaming websites and have contributed more than 10K words to the development of the said websites.
