“The Mexican pianist Claudia Corona, project starter, and soloist on this CD, is clear about her duty as an ambassador for Latin American music and has constantly proved in her concerts and recordings that music, especially that of her home country cannot be reduced to folkloric clichés […] Zyman presents himself as an eclectic throughout his three movements work, in which language is nurtured by the specter of romanticism, coming across French impressionism to arrive at Béla Bartók. Nevertheless, traditional orientation and all, the concert owns great dramatic power and therefore belongs, without putting aside the outstanding virtuosity on the soloist part, to the internationally acclaimed works of the composer.
However, a true discovery is José Rolon’s Piano Concerto, one of the most important and influential Mexican composers of the twentieth century, strongly influenced himself by French modernism, throughout his many stays in Paris. […] [Rolón] fitted in his own works, Mexican stylistic elements in an exceedingly original manner inside the European musical thought.
His Piano Concert, that after 80 years is heard for the first time in this recording on its 1935 World Premiere version, reconstructed by Claudia Corona herself, occasionally presents folkloristic elements. However in the instrument arrangement, the harmonic ambivalence and not forgetting some jazz formulae used on the last movement, the French influence is more dominant, especially that of Ravel, from which we can be reminded of at certain parts of his Gmajor Concert. VENDOR SAFETY & SECURITY PROGRAM
1. Conduct
• SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN ANY REB STORAGE SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL
INSTALLATION SITES. Smoking is permitted only in exterior designated areas.
• Horseplay, fighting, gambling, and drinking alcoholic beverages, illegal possession of
drugs or failure to follow REB Storage Systems International Safety and Security Regulations
may result in barring those involved from REB Storage Systems International installation
sites.
2. Communication
• Questions concerning policy, procedure or the project/activity must be coordinated through
the local REB Storage Systems International Manager or REB Storage Systems International
Project Manager. The REB Storage Systems International Project Manager shall serve as the
focal point for all such interfaces and information sharing.
3. Safety Instructions
• Vendor shall have written and documented training on equipment safety features and safe
practices.
• Before assigning a task, the vendor must show and explain to their employees the safety
precautions and actions, which must be taken while performing the task. No power
equipment shall be operated without the OSHA mandated training and licensing.
4. Office Access
• With the exception of the restrooms, all office areas are off limits.
• All vendors using REB Storage Systems International restrooms at installation sites must leave
them as clean as when they entered. If necessary, an outside cleaning agency must be hired
to clean the restrooms at the expense of the vendor or if is determined that they have not
maintained· the cleanliness of the restrooms. Other exceptions may be made at the local level
with REB Storage Systems International management.
5. Dress Code
• It is necessary that all vendors wear proper attire at all times: shirts, shoes, and long pants
(Temperature sensitive.)
6. Personal Protection
• All required the vendor when necessary should provide personal protective equipment. When
mandatory, enforcement of its use is the responsibility of the vendor.
7. Hours
• All work is to be performed between 8:00AM and 5:00PM, or other hours as pre-arranged
with the local REB Storage Systems International Manager or REB Storage Systems
International Project Manager. Any change in work times must be cleared in advance with
REB Storage Systems International management and the vendor Project Manager, including
nights and/or weekends.
8. Admittance
All Contractor personnel is required to show a valid photo ID upon entering a customer’s facility.
• All personnel must sign in upon entering the facility and sign out each time the facility
property is left, including material pick-ups. No vendor employee shall allow entry of an
outside person into an REB Storage Systems International installation site on his or her own
without approval from REB STORAGE SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL local management.

• El vendedor debe tener entrenamiento escrito y documentado sobre las características de protección
y prácticas seguras.
• Antes de asignar una tarea, el vendedor debe mostrar y explicar a sus empleados las precauciones y

ABSTRACT
Student’s violence expressions present different degrees amongst the university age youth. This research has its roots on a previous diagnosis inquiry work, where all the data showed the presence of an array of violence expressions inside the institution that draws attention about the importance and transcendence it bears for the institution community.
Several inquiries and research works on violence facts were taken as a starting point, as it has been found an attachment and/or a correlation with the existing risk factors in the family, the social and the school settings of the students, that appear
through the lack of adherence to the moral standards, and the failure to face adversity, aggression, and an inability to socialize. The ability to face adversity, to draw strength out of it and to learn throughout the experience is called resilience.
Resilience intends to care for the development of key factors on individuals associated with specific ethical values, and that are prone to render advantageous answers towards the decrease of violence expressions, improvement of personal abilities and social adjustment.
To support the decrease of violence expression on the student population, in this work, an analytical approach diagnosis qualitative study is presented, based on structured interviews applied to a random sample group of degree-level students,
together with self-made questionnaires based on instruments tested on previous surveys with a good outcome. These tools allowed a probe on specific ethical values and student’s violence expressions, permitting an interpretation analysis using the SPSS analysis software to produce correlation charts.
This is how it comes out to determine to what extent the violence expressions profiles have a correlation and how much, with the specified ethical values and, at the same time, with the expression of resilience factors in the surveyed population.
Thus, the proposition of a planned changing model, based upon ethical values that promote the resilient attitude among students and diminishes the student’s violence on the institution.

RESUMEN
Las expresiones de violencia estudiantil presentan grados diferentes entre los jóvenes en edad universitaria. Esta investigación nace del resultado de un trabajo previo de investigación diagnóstica en donde los datos arrojan presencia de diversas expresiones de violencia dentro la institución que llaman la atención por su importancia y trascendencia para la comunidad de la institución.
Varios estudios y trabajos de investigación sobre hechos de violencia se han tomado como punto de partida, ya que se ha encontrado un vínculo y/o correlación con los factores de riesgo existentes en el entorno socio-familiar y escolar de los estudiantes, que se hacen presentes a través de la falta de apego a las normas morales, la incapacidad para afrontar la adversidad, la agresividad, y la incapacidad para socializar.
A la capacidad para afrontar las adversidades, salir fortalecido de ellas y aprender a través de la experiencia se le denomina resiliencia.
La resiliencia propone atender el desarrollo de factores determinantes en los individuos que están asociados con valores éticos específicos y que ofrecen dar respuesta favorable hacia la disminución de expresiones de violencia, la mejoría de las capacidades personales y la funcionalidad social.
Para apoyar la disminución de expresiones de violencia en la población estudiantil, en este trabajo se presenta un estudio diagnóstico con enfoque analítico cualitativo realizado a partir de entrevistas estructuradas aplicadas a una muestra aleatoria de estudiantes de nivel licenciatura, así como encuestas de elaboración propia, basadas en instrumentos ya probados en otras investigaciones con buenos resultados. Estas herramientas permitieron la exploración de valores éticos específicos y expresiones de violencia estudiantil, permitiendo el análisis interpretativo utilizando el programa SPSS para la elaboración de gráficas de correlación.
Es así como se llega a determinar en qué medida los perfiles en donde se muestran expresiones de violencia tienen correlación y en qué medida, con los valores éticos especificados y a su vez con la manifestación de factores de resiliencia en la población estudiada.
De aquí, la propuesta de un modelo de cambio planeado, basado en valores éticos que promueva la actitud resiliente entre los estudiantes y disminuya la violencia estudiantil en la institución.

The origins of the Latin American Anthropology Association (ALA)
The Latin American Anthropology Association (ALA) was established in April 1990 amidst the celebration of the “XVII Meeting of the Brazilian Anthropology Association (ABA) held in Santa Catarina at Florianópolis, Brazil. Although the efforts to create the association have many important backgrounds at least a decade before, for instance, on the year 1979 a meeting was held in Cocoyoc, at Morelos State, México, with the support of the Culture Department of the Organization of American States (OAS in English or OEA in Spanish) and the Inter-American Indigenous Institute (III) summoned a group of anthropologists and archeologists from Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela, with the purpose of assessing the situation of the field, to link the professionals on anthropology and to analyze their roles in the processes of development.
Throughout the meeting, it was made clear that there was little knowledge about what was being researched and about the working areas of the anthropologists, despite our geographical and historical closeness, which make evident the need
for an outreach and for undertaking a cooperative effort and an academic exchange.
As a result of that meeting, an agreement to create an association of Latin American and Caribbean anthropologists and archeologists was made, and Mexican anthropologist Guillermo Bonfil Batalla, by the head of the Higher Research Center of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (Centro de Investigaciones Superiores del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia CIS-INAH) currently known as Social Anthropology Research and Higher Education Center (Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social, CIESAS), was nominated to fulfill this task and Felix Baez was the head of the III.
