Am a Civil Engineer by qualification, who later diversified into Translation and Localization, Transcription and Movie Subtitling.

I was born in Kerala, and did my schooling in Malayalam medium and college in English, so Malayalam and English are virtually like native languages. I also understand Hindi very well, and can translate from Hindi.

Being from the social media age, I am very adept at Localization and can translate documents from source language to target language while maintaining its intent, style, tone, and context. Am also well aware of the multicultural-issues, diversity, local slang and lingo and my localization evokes the same emotions and carries the same implications in the target language as it does in the source language.  As a result, my localization, translation, transliteration, and subtitling services from English to Malayalam and vice-versa, have been extremely successful for movies, legal documents, product specifications, job contracts and advertising.

My areas of expertise include Legal, White Papers, Marketing Materials, Product Descriptions, Technical  Manuals, Intellectual Property,  Contracts, Medicine (ICF etc.), Press Releases, Newspaper Reports, Multimedia Marketing, Transcription and Subtitling.

Additionally, I can also localize, time sync and subtitle your video into Malayalam or English.

I have transcription experience also, and have worked for foreign clients before.

Most of the translations that I do is on my own, except some help from Google or Microsoft translation tools. I have worked on some CAT tools like Matecat, Smart cat, Passolo and XTM as per client requirements and can easily learn the working of any other tool, if the software link is provided. I am also familiar with subtitling apps like Aegisub and subtitle edit.

I have extensive experience in MS Excel, MS Word and Adobe Photoshop. I am also very conversant with most new social media tools, like twitter, whatsapp etc.
