Born and bred in northern France, a crossroad between France, the UK and Belgium, I've always found foreign languages fascinating and knew from a young age I wanted to be a translator.
I've made that dream come true by getting a Master's degree in EN > FR legal, economic and technical translation, but I ended up getting a first work experience in the video games industry, which I fell in love with, having been a casual player myself for years.
After being employed full time as an in-house localisation specialist at Nintendo for 3 years and at Jagex for nearly 12 years, I've decided to broaden my horizons by switching to freelancing fully, having taken small jobs on the side for a few years already, mainly translating white goods, toys or games manuals.
