I'm a seasoned linguist specializing in translation and editing. My translation work runs the gamut -- spanning a vast range of domains and subject matter from Film/Literary/Promotional to Legal/Administrative/Business: for instance, I've translated subtitles for the award-winning feature films Leviathan and Loveless (auteur dramas, one of which nominated for the Oscars in the Best Foreign Film section that year), as well as government litigation documents submitted for review to the European Court of Human Rights by Yuliya Tymoshenko's lawyers. 

In my approach, I combine discerning exactitude with literary flair (whenever it's called for). I adapt to various specification, tone and style requirements with ease, always striving to deliver the most accurate and polished translation.

I have an MFA in Fine Arts (Film) and a Bachelor's degree in Translation, as well as rather extensive experience in a variety of linguistic applications, including copywriting and script-doctoring (all of which substantially has informed the quality of my translation work). I charge USD 0.10-0.12/source word for translation and USD 0.04/target word for editing. My schedule is generally fairly open and flexible, so I'm usually able to take on work at short notice and provide quick turnarounds.
