Source text - English EXT. CRASHED AVENGER - NIGHT
Clutching her handbag of guns, Lenore gets out of the car and sinks to her knees as Fitzjohn draws her gun and makes for her. The raven lands in between the two women, it flaps its wings and squawks a warning at Fitzjohn who aims it.
LENORE
(urgently, to Fitzjohn)
No, no, don’t!
(to the raven)
Jacomo come, come here.
The raven hops to Lenore. With her gun still out, Fitzjohn closes in, cagily.
FITZJOHN
Are you hurt?
LENORE
Just bruises.
Fitzjohn looks at the Avenger.
FITZJOHN
This your car?
LENORE
No; some guys tried to nab me -- I got away in it.
FITZJOHN
Were they after the money?
Lenore is caught off guard. Fitzjohn produces Alan’s photo and Lenore’s e-fit. Lenore screws her face up at it.
LENORE
Who the hell is that?
Fitzjohn compares Lenore with the e-fit and shaking her head discards it. She gestures to Alan’s photo.
FITZJOHN
Where is he?
EXT. QUEENSBORO BRIDGE - NIGHT
Alan drives towards the illuminated vista of Manhattan. He glances to the two guns on the front passenger seat and brushes then into the foot well.
EXT. CRASHED AVENGER - NIGHT
LENORE
We split up.
Lenore raises a hand to be helped up. As Fitzjohn reaches out, Lenore trips her and pins her to the ground pressing her forearm against Fitzjohn’s throat.
FITZJOHN
(croaky)
You don’t want to do this.
LENORE
If I could tell good cops from bad ones I wouldn’t have to.
FITZJOHN
There’s a cop after the money?
LENORE
(nodding)
He got a bullet in his shoulder for his trouble.
FITZJOHN
McIntosh?
LENORE
We weren't introduced.
Fitzjohn nods, knowingly.
FITZJOHN
If I’m right, he’s got an accomplice.
They flinch at the sound of gunshot from Seymour who is in the center of the road limping towards them. Lenore grabs Fitzjohn’s pistol.
LENORE
Stay down!
Lenore springs up with her handbag and strides towards Seymour firing Fitzjohn’s gun as she goes. Fitzjohn scrambles to her patrol car and gets on the radio.
INT. RED LINCOLN - NIGHT
Alan turns off the bridge onto Second Avenue to find himself facing a police road block. As he stops, OFFICER #3 approaches, Alan gets his window down.
OFFICER #3
We gotta situation two blocks down. Make a U-turn and take another route.
Alan notices the raven circling about two blocks down and hears gunshot.
ALAN
(smiling)
No problem.
As the officer turns to walk to his car, Alan slams his foot down, shoots past the bewildered officer and heads in the raven’s direction.
EXT. CRASHED AVENGER - NIGHT
Lenore blazes away at Seymour while behind him two other cars pull up. TWO MEN from each car leap out and open fire on Lenore. She stands her ground until she’s emptied Fitzjohn’s gun. She takes two others from her handbag and starts picking off the attackers. With three of them down, she hears a car racing towards her.
She looks behind to see Alan in the Lincoln skidding to a halt. She finishes off Seymour and another man. Alan throws open the passenger door. She looks around for the raven and it suddenly lands at her feet. She whispers to it and it launches into the air. She rushes to the Lincoln, leaps in and they speed away.
Translation - French EXT. DODGE AVENGER ACCIDENTÉE - NUIT
Empoignant son sac d'armes, Lenore sort de la voiture et s'agenouille pendant que Fitzjohn lève son fusil et s'approche. Le corbeau atterrit entre les deux femmes, il bat des ailes et lance des cris d'avertissement à Fitzjohn qui le vise.
LENORE
(très vite, à Fitzjohn)
Non, non, ne faites pas ça!
(au corbeau)
Jacomo viens, viens ici.
Le corbeau sautille jusqu'à Lenore. L'arme encore levée, Fitzjohn s'approche prudemment.
FITZJOHN
Vous êtes blessée?
LENORE
Juste des contusions.
Fitzjohn regarde l'Avenger.
FITZJOHN
C'est votre voiture?
LENORE
Non. Des gars ont essayé de m'attraper - Je l'ai piquée.
FITZJOHN
Ils en voulaient à l'argent?
Lenore est piégée. Fitzjohn sort la photo d'Alan et le portrait-robot. Lenore lève les yeux vers son visage.
LENORE
Qui est-ce?
Fitzjohn compare Lenore avec le portrait-robot, secoue la tête et le range. Elle désigne la photo d'Alan.
FITZJOHN
Où est-il?
EXT. QUEENSBORO BRIDGE - NUIT
Alan roule vers Manhattan illuminée. Il regarde les deux armes sur le siège passager et les pousse par terre.
EXT. DODGE AVENGER ACCIDENTÉE - NUIT
LENORE
Nous nous sommes séparés.
Lenore tend la main à Fitzjohn pour se relever. Dès que Fitzjohn saisit sa main, Lenore l'attire et plaque Fitzjohn à terre en appuyant son avant-bras sue sa gorge.
FITZJOHN
(rauque)
Vous ne voulez pas faire ça.
LENORE
Si je pouvais trier les bons flics des mauvais, je n'en aurais pas besoin.
FITZJOHN
Il y a un flic après l'argent?
LENORE
(hochant la tête)
Il a pris une balle dans l'épaule pour sa peine.
FITZJOHN
McIntosh?
LENORE
Nous n'avons pas été présentés.
Fitzjohn opine en connaissance de cause.
FITZJOHN
Si j'ai raison, il a un complice.
Elles se baissent au bruit d'un tir de Seymour qui s'avance en boitant au milieu de la rue. Lenore saisit le fusil de Fitzjohn.
LENORE
Restez couchée!
Lenore surgit avec son sac à main et avance à grands pas vers Seymour en tirant de l'arme de Fitzjohn. Fitzjohn rampe jusqu' à sa voiture de patrouille et saisit la radio.
INT. LINCOLN ROUGE - NUIT
Alan tourne du pont sur la 2e Avenue et se retrouve face à un barrage de police. Comme il s'arrête, l'AGENT N°3 s'approche. Alan baisse sa vitre.
AGENT N° 3
On a un problème a deux pâtés d'ici. Faites demi-tour et prenez une autre route.
Alan remarque le corbeau volant en cercles à environ deux pâtés de maisons et entend des coups de feu.
ALAN
(souriant)
Pas de problème.
Alors que l'agent se retourne pour rejoindre sa voiture, Alan écrase l'accélérateur, le laisse là stupéfait et file dans la direction du corbeau.
EXT. DODGE AVENGER ACCIDENTÉE - NUIT
Lenore tire sur Seymour pendant que deux autres voitures s'arrêtent derrière lui. Deux hommes sautent de chaque voiture et ouvrent le feu sur Lenore. Elle se tient sur ses positions jusqu'à ce qu'elle ait vidée le fusil de Fitzjohn. Elle prend deux autres armes dans son sac et commence à arroser les assaillants. Trois tombent à terre, elle entend une voiture débouler vers elle.
Elle regarde en arrière et voit piler Alan dans la Lincoln. Elle achève Seymour et le dernier homme. Alan ouvre la porte passager. Elle cherche le corbeau qui atterrit soudainement à ses pieds. Elle lui chuchote quelque chose et il s'envole. Elle se précipite vers la Lincoln, monte et ils s'enfuient.

How get the most out of this book:
Start anywhere, really. This is mostly a collection of puzzles, exercises, and activities. What works for you may not work for your brother. You may have a working knowledge of some Na'vi, or you may be reading these words wondering what all the excitement is over a movie language that barely has a “thousand known words.” This book focuses primarily on building your vocabulary, so you can understand and actually use basic Na'vi within the next few days. Some people actually like to study grammar before they start in on vocabulary. We have included “Skxawng's Grammar Worksheets” to help you learn and practice grammar (with his permission of course).
If you get confused, don't quit. Log on to LearnNavi.org and ask questions. Download any of the free dictionaries there. Most of all though, make a commitment to yourself to stay at it and memorize words you like and use them often. Do all of the exercises, activities, and the puzzles in this book. If this book works for you, please post me a note in the forums. I like to know if anyone is actually getting anything out of this.

Comment tirer le meilleur parti de ce livre :
Commencez n’importe où, à votre guise. C’est essentiellement une collection de mots-croisés, d’exercices et de remue-méninges. Ce qui marche pour vous peut ne pas convenir pour votre frère. Vous pouvez connaitre un peu de Na'vi, ou vous pouvez lire ces mots en vous demandant ce que c’est que tout ce tintouin pour une langue de cinéma qui comporte à peine un "millier de mots connus". Ce livre est centré principalement sur la construction de votre vocabulaire, afin que vous puissiez comprendre et même utiliser les bases du Na'vi dès les prochains jours. Certaines personnes préfèrent étudier la grammaire avant de commencer le vocabulaire. Nous avons inclus la " Grammaire pour les Nuls" pour vous aider à l'apprendre et la pratiquer (avec sa permission bien sûr).
Si vous êtes perdu, n’arrêtez pas. Connectez-vous sur LearnNavi.org et posez des questions. Téléchargez tous les dictionnaires gratuits.
