I developed my professional translating skills mainly whilst working for one of the government bodies in Lithuania and private Lithuanian and global businesses and organisations. I have an extensive over 20 years of experience in translating documents in legal and medical field from/to Lithuanian/English.
My Interpreter’s career, started with telephone interpreting and gradually developed to a face to face and conference interpreting. I worked for the Agencies like The Big Word, Lingo 24, SATIS, FVCI and interpreted in Scottish high courts, Scottish Chambers of Commerce and National Health service,
Currently I work as a Equality, Diversity and human rights expert and interpreter/translator for National Health service. in my career at NHS I have developed and deliver an 80 hour DPSI (Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (SCQF level 10)) training programme in health field.
I believe my extensive experience in translating professional and government documents from English into Lithuanian would be an asset to any company. I am particularly interested in medical device translation and book translation.
I am also used to working to tight deadlines and have completed many time sensitive translations. I have a strong work ethic and am committed to my career as a translator/interpreter and a tutor.
