Study Title: A study to investigate the association between resting heart rate (HR) and prognosis of patients with Coronary artery disease (CAD) treated with Bisoprolol (BISO-CAD study)
You are invited to participate in an observational study because you have been prescribed Concor® by your doctor to treat coronary artery disease. Concor® has been approved in India for this indication. Before you decide whether to participate, please take time to read the following information. You can ask your doctor about anything that is not clear or if you would like more information.
The purpose of this observational study is to study the therapeutic effect of Concor® treatment in patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease.
This study is to collect available and relevant information from the medical records. You will not undergo additional diagnostic procedure or therapeutic treatment other than those routinely prescribed by your doctor. Your coronary artery disease condition will be managed at the discretion of your doctor as per his routine clinical practice.
This multicenter study sponsored by Merck Serono Co., Ltd. will recruit approximately 1094 subjects and implemented at 40 hospitals in Asian-Pacific regions, including China, Korea, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam. If you agree to participate in this study, we will record your relevant examination data in the coming 18 months during Concor® therapy.
