I am a Norwegian national with a degree in Linguistics and Translation (English <> Norwegian). I am considered bilingual in Norwegian and English. As a translator I am experienced and knowledgeable, with an eye for details. I take pride in being efficient, hardworking and professional, and I have been working as a translator since 2008.




I enjoy working with languages and possess good communication skills, which aids me in the accurate and proper translation of projects. I also have experience as a proofreader and editor. My main language pair is Norwegian <> English, however, I also translate from German, Swedish and Danish. I was taught German in the Norwegian educational system for 6 years, in addition to having lived and gone to school in Germany. I mainly work in Wordfast Pro (latest version), Across, and XTM, but I also have experience using Word/Excel, MemoQ, and A.nnotate.




I have completed projects for companies such as 3MK, Duracell, Bernina, LG, Chemwatch, Bosch, Microsoft, PinnacleSports, GE, DSC gmbh, Mineral Plast, Valiente Red Media, Rolls-Royce, Pels AS, Zagg, and many more. (Most are, as you can imagine, proprietary). My main fields of expertise are Medical and Technical translations, but I am also experienced in the fields of Gaming, IT/Electronics and Business, and of course, general texts.
