In 2003, I began my career path as a technical translator, where I have specialized in various fields of medicine and pharmaceuticals, as well as other technical fields including biotechnology, cosmetics, energy, engineering, mining, etc. Professionally, I have successfully completed over 1,800 projects, translating and/or proofreading millions of words for over 70 pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Bayer, Merck, Novartis, Roche and AstraZeneca, as well as dozens of medical agencies, institutions and hospitals. In addition, I have worked on countless other projects for companies in various industries. Every project has been an education in itself requiring much research into the subject matter and terminology. Accuracy, consistency, attention to detail and meeting deadlines are always among my top priorities when I accept an assignment.

My educational background includes an Associate's Degree in Drafting/CAD from Santa Barbara City College and coursework towards a B.S. in Software Development at the University of Maryland. Later, after receiving other technical training and professional experience, this enabled me to transition into technical translation. Since then, I have never stopped learning. While staying up to date with my specialized fields through personal research, industry webinars, scientific journals, and continuing education, I continue to learn new linguistic and technical skills. Outside of my professional work, I have dedicated over 30 years to volunteer activities among native speakers of Albanian, English, French, Haitian Creole and Spanish.
