Source text - Marathi राजे: म्हणजे पाऊस पडला तर पहिल्या झटक्यात या विहिरी भरतील, जास्त पडला तर धरण भरेल. पाटीलः आव पर राजे पहिल्या पावसात तर सगळा गाळच जाऊन बसेल की त्या विहिरीत. राजे: नाही मन्डळी ही विहीर तशी नसेल. याचा आकार घागरीसारखा असेल. आणि वरचे तोन्ड खुपच अरुन्द असेल जे कायमच बन्द असेल. गावकरी: मग राजे त्या विहिरीत पाणी तरी कसे जाईल? राजे: या धरणात जोपर्यन्त पाणी असेल तोपर्यन्त आजूबाजूचे पाणी झिरपून झिरपून त्या विहिरीत येउन ती भरलेली असेल. पाटीलः आता कळल बघा. म्हणजे धरण मोकळ होईपर्यन्त विहिर भरलेली असेल अस नाही का. राजे: होय मन्डळी. अतिरीक्त पाणी शेवटच्या थेम्बापर्यन्त साठवण्याचा हाच तो मार्ग आहे. नाहीतर आपण बघताच पावसात सगळीकडे पाणीच पाणी आणि उन्हाळ्यात डोळ्यात पाणी. जेव्हा दुश्काळ पडेल तेव्हाच या गुप्त विहिरीचे तोन्ड उघडले जाईल आणि पुन्हा पाऊस येईपर्यन्त या तीन विहिरी टप्प्याटप्प्याने वापरात आणू. दुश्काळातही हा महाराश्ट्र दुश्काळमुक्त ठेवू. धरणाच्या विहिरीतील हे राखीव पाणी माझ्या रयतेच्या डोळ्यातील पाणी रोखून धरेल. Maharashtra will be free of droughts even during droughts. The reserved water in the wells of this dam will never bring tears in our eyes.
