I am a translator/interpreter from English and German to Spanish, my native language. I also studied law, but this knowledge mainly has supported my work in translating legal documents and interpreting law-related discussions within the business environment during the almost two decades. During this time, I worked as a translator and assistant for the management of a German automotive company, thus acquiring a vast experience in technical and commercial issues. I am familiar with computing systems and applications, and during several years I translated for a site dedicated to ID security systems. I am not an IT person, but I am familiar with computing systems and applications in general. I write and translate literature, including literature for children. For me, communicating with the customer is essential, so that the final result not only comes from the translation as such, but also from the details and agreements based upon the desires and objectives of the client. Currently I am retired and work as a freelancer.

Ich bin Übersetzerin/Dolmetscher von Englisch und Deutsch nach Spanisch, meiner Muttersprache. Ich habe auch Jura studiert, aber dieses Wissen hat meine Arbeit in den fast zwei Jahrzehnten, in denen ich als Übersetzer und Assistent für das Management eines deutschen Automobilunternehmens tätig war, hauptsächlich bei der Übersetzung von Rechtsdokumenten und der Interpretation von rechtsbezogenen Diskussionen im Geschäftsumfeld unterstützt, daher habe ich viel Erfahrung in technischen und kommerziellen Fragen. Ich bin mit Computersystemen und -anwendungen vertraut und habe mehrere Jahre für eine Website übersetzt, die sich mit ID-Sicherheitssystemen befasst. Ich selbst bin kein IT-Spezialist, kenne mich jedoch mit Systemen und Anwendungen im Allgemeinen aus. Ich schreibe und übersetze Literatur, auch Kinderliteratur.

Ich lege großen Wert darauf, mich mit dem Kunden auszutauschen, damit das Endergebnis nicht nur aus der Ausführung der Übersetzung resultiert, sondern auch aus den Einzelheiten und Vereinbarungen, die auf den Wünschen und Zielen des Kunden beruhen. Zurzeit bin ich pensioniert und arbeite freiberuflich.

También estudié derecho, pero este conocimiento ha servido básicamente de apoyo a mi trabajo en la traducción de documentos legales y la interpretación de discusiones relacionadas con el derecho dentro del entorno empresarial, durante las casi dos décadas en las que trabajé como traductora y asistente para la gestión de una empresa automotriz alemana, adquiriendo una vasta experiencia en temas técnicos y comerciales. Estoy familiarizada con los sistemas y aplicaciones informáticos, y durante varios años traduje para un sitio dedicado a los sistemas de seguridad de identificación. No soy especialista de informática, pero sí conocedora de los sistemas y aplicaciones en general. Escribo y traduzco literatura, también literatura infantil. Le doy gran valor al intercambio con el cliente, con vistas a que el resultado final no solo se derive de la ejecución del trabajo, sino también de los detalles y acuerdos basados ​​en los deseos y objetivos del cliente. Actualmente estoy jubilada y trabajo freelance.
