Source text - Spanish Éste es uno de esos episodios nunca deseados. Ni para mi mismo ni para otros, menos si se es un pergenio que recién se empina, y con dificultad, para otear curioso sobre los bordes del lejano horizonte que marca a los adultos. Quizás por eso el despropósito se mantuvo acurrucado, casi extinguido en mi memoria, como el resto mal apagado de un incendio inexplicable y feo, soportando por años el tufillo mohoso que subyace tras toda experiencia mal masticada y tragada a la fuerza.
Translation - German Es war eines jener Erlebnisse, die man wohl niemandem wünscht, weder sich selbst noch Anderen, und noch weniger einem Steppke, der gerade erst angefangen hat, sich mühevoll aufzurichten, um über den eigenen Horizont hinaus neugierig nach der Welt der Erwachsenen zu spähen. Vielleicht konnte die Ungereimtheit ja deshalb so lange in den Tiefen meines Gedächtnisses überleben, zusammengekauert, scheinbar wie ausgelöscht, ähnlich der nicht zur Gänze erstickten Überbleibsel eines unerklärlichen, hässlichen Brandes, dessen modriger Nachgeruch wohl jeder heruntergewürgten und schlecht verdauten Erfahrung innewohnt.
