Nas duas horas deste curso é demonstrado como utilizar as funções da seção PM Perspective da interface do Wordfast Pro.
Essas funções mais avançadas do programa ajudam tanto gerentes de projeto quanto tradutores a lidar melhor com projetos envolvendo grandes volumes de texto ou um grande número de arquivos. Permitem realizar diversas tarefas úteis com vários arquivos ao mesmo tempo: analisar em relação à memória de tradução, extrair repetições, pré-traduzir, exportar arquivos bilíngues para revisão ou tradução em outras ferramentas, juntar arquivos pequenos ou dividir arquivos grandes, fazer a verificação de qualidade, limpar, entre outras. Assim, permitem gerenciar de forma mais eficiente a tradução de projetos extensos, proporcionando ganhos de tempo, organização, consistência e qualidade.

Recommendations

Bio: Reginaldo Francisco é tradutor técnico e literário de inglês e italiano. É bacharel em Letras com Habilitação de Tradutor pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) e mestre em Estudos da Tradução pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Publicou artigos e ministra palestras sobre Tradução, além de ser o autor, juntamente com a Profa. Dra. Claudia Zavaglia, do livro Parece mas não é: as armadilhas da tradução do italiano para o português. É treinador das ferramentas Wordfast e memoQ, oferecendo cursos presenciais e on-line para tradutores.


Reginaldo Francisco is a Brazilian technical and literary translator (English>Portuguese and Italian>Portuguese). He has a bachelor's degree in Translation and a master's degree in Translation Studies. He delivers lectures and has published articles and a book on Translation. He is also a Wordfast and memoQ trainer, providing on-site and on-line training sessions for translators.
