English <> Icelandic (Iceland) - Medical/Pharmaceuticals Translator

Hello,

I am a Resource Coordinator at ICON Language Services, an internal translation group at ICON, a clinical research organization.

We are currently seeking to expand our database of experienced and reliable native Icelandic (Iceland) freelance clinical translators and reviewers for clinical research documentation.

If you are interested in supporting these needs, please send a copy of your current CV and elaborate on your experience with clinical/medical-related translations and any other relevant work experience.

Minimum requirements:
• Formal higher education in translation (recognized degree)
• OR equivalent qualification in any other subject area AND a minimum of two years of full-time documented translation experience
• OR at least five years of full-time documented professional experience in translating

Preferred qualifications:
• Have prior experience translating site-facing materials (primarily Investigator Brochures, Protocols or any other materials written for medical or clinical professionals)
• OR have prior experience translating patient-facing materials such as Informed Consent Forms and Patient Questionnaires.
• must be familiar with medical/clinical terminology
