One, or maybe two. It's not really something I actively keep track of. Clients come and go.

So far in 2022 I’ve worked with 7 new clients (6 through Proz), 5 of these have been returning customers…

I don't think I have had any new customers so far this year. Those I have seem to be giving me ever more work, which is fine by me. I've had a couple resurface after a few years of silence, which is lovely.

2 new clients so far. Not bad, since I'm not actively looking for new ones and I'm always working with the same clients (about 15) for many years now.

But but but 2022 is not over yet, and the Christmas period may be a time when agencies look for new blood to temporarily replace incumbent translators on holiday.
Temporarily? Only if those translators are in-house. The idea is and has always been to dislodge freelance colleagues on holiday, ill or otherwise unavailable from their current comfy ranking as the default go-to translator and replace them for ever on a handful of accounts/brands.

The freelance business is decidedly chevaleresque.

Which roster? Nov 16, 2022

It depends on which roster we're talking about. This year I've added several names to my list of agencies I don't want to work with.

As for clients I do want to work with, there have been two new additions in recent months and probably more earlier in the year, though I don't remember for sure.

That was before my stroke in June. I am now accepting small assignments -- still spending a lot of time in therapy.
