Just a few words to let you know what Proz represented for me. Tomorrow i will be operated on (hip surgery - i used to be a marathon runner 50 miles a week)
I\'ve been suffering a lot for several years (had to take morphine pills) and Proz allowed me to keep a positive image of myself (crippled but still a competitor)
I wrote these few words to stress that besides its professionnal aspects, this web site can take alltogether different dimensions and a deep human one.

Dear Albert,
Our thoughts are with you. Is this surgery complicated? How long does it take to recover? Pls keep us informed. As someone who had to overcome medical problems in order to become a mother (and I was able to do so only thanks to what I learned through the Internet), I feel empathy for other people with medical problems.

La chirurgie de la hanche est trés bien maitrisée désormais, alors malgré toute l\'appréhension que peut susciter l\'éventualité de toute opération, soyez confiant, votre vie va probablement en être transformée dans un sens positif, fin de la douleur et nouvelle mobilité.
