June was a VERY busy month. It was non-stop work everyday. I hope to have a short break in July. It's good to have work but also exhausting.

I had a very busy month: the only 4 days I didn’t work were the 1st and the last weekend of June. I’m having a day off today: I’ve delivered a translation this morning and I’m not expecting any more work…

June always seems to be a slow month for me every year. It could be because of all of the bank holidays and days-off in-between.

June was a very busy month.
Now I'm enjoying 2 weeks holidays BUT with my pc because I've still a lot of work (so I enjoy in the morning and then translating in the afternoon + evenings)

A couple right at the beginning of the month (much appreciated after a very busy month of May) and then last Thursday, but I had no jobs because I refused a job that would have eaten into my long weekend with friends that I'm just back from.

It was a quiet month, but... I checked my records, and: I had jobs on all days except 1, 2, 8, 16, 22, 29 and 30 June (i.e., the weekends).

Of course, I did not work all through the month of June, but the question is "...were you available for work but had no jobs?"
I am not (any more) available for work on weekends and on holidays of which we had many this year in Germany (not "bank holidays" as Michael Harris stated, but religious holidays).
I am all the time getting more offers than I can serve, but this month, when I rejected because of enough other work I was asked more than twice by when I could do this job.

And although I indicated a date far behind the formerly desired one, I got the assignment.

Not even the weekends, thankfully. April was terrible and May was ordinary. June saved my life. I hope July keeps the same rhythm.
