Hi! I would like to purchase the training, however I work during the hours it will be taking place. Is it possible for me to purchase it and watch it later that evening? If so, how would I be able to access it?
Thanks! | | | José Marques (X) Portugal Local time: 11:00 Portuguese to English Preparation of document for translation webinar - prerequisites | Mar 26, 2014 |

Hello Kelley,
Thank you for your interest in the training.
The course will be recorded. About 5 working days after the session all registrants will receive an email with a link to the page with webinar video and handouts. The link to materials will be emailed to your email address and a certificate of attendance will be issued even do not participate in the live session.

OCR for Greek | Apr 2, 2014 |
Hello Anna,
Does the software you use in your presentation apply to Greek characters? I often find that the recognition rate for Greek texts is not very high. Thank you. | | | Anna Fitak Poland Local time: 12:00 English to Polish + ... Intrigued by the title | Apr 2, 2014 |

A little . The main purpose here will be to show how to obtain editable version of image or pfd document and how to save some parts of documents for further use with preserved graphics and layout. | | | Anna Fitak Poland Local time: 12:00 English to Polish + ... OCR for Greek | Apr 2, 2014 |

Hello, the most recent version of Abby FineReader supports Greek, there is also a separate patch for this language BUT I cannot tell you whether it works properly because I do not understand a single word in Greek so I'm not sure whether it spoils text or not. It would be a good idea to check out the trial. | | | DRogers United Kingdom Local time: 11:00 Chinese to English A Late Start? | Apr 3, 2014 |
Anna,
I've tried logging onto the webinar at 17 minutes past, but it seems we are still waiting on the organizer to join. Are any others experiencing the same issue?

J.E.Sunseri United States Local time: 04:00 Member (2009) Russian to English Great class, but it should be 2 hours long. | Apr 8, 2014 |
I am happy I took this class. Thank you for putting it together, Ana! What a great idea to save some text to Excel and then sort, and also I did not know what macros were before. My suggestion is that the class be 2 hours long, not just one, and that you take that first document with the strange image and process it from start to finish in the first hour, and spend the second hour on the macros and uploading the document into the CAT. It was a lot of information for just one hour. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Preparation of document for translation Protemos translation business management system | Create your account in minutes, and start working! 3-month trial for agencies, and free for freelancers!
