Relevance as preparation for SDL Trados Studio 2011 Part I (Getting Started) Level 1 exam Nov 8, 2012

Hello,

I am a reasonably experienced user of Trados Workbench 2007 and now (less experienced) of Trados Studio - I have used Trados 2007 for about 4-5 years and have around 2 years of basic use of Studio 2009 (I also used Déjà Vu for 2-3 years between 2006 and 2008).

This upgrade course looks like it would better serve my needs than attending the Part I course, as I am already familiar with the basic features of Studio, and I want to take parts II and III before then tackling the certification exams. I know this question may be difficult to answer as you don't know how much (or how little!) knowledge of Trados I have, but assuming that I have reasonable knowledge of Trados software and the new Studio interface, would I get enough from this course to have a good chance of passing the Part I exam?

Kind regards,
Richard

No: this course is more about upgrading your databases Nov 21, 2012

This course is not intended to prepare for the certification. Its main focus is how to upgrade your data/databases for use in the new Studio version.
