Description:  A very comprehensive dictionary published by the Spanish National Academy of Medicine. The dictionary is monolingual in Spanish. It does NOT have an English-Spanish glossary for back-reference, although it contains the English term in a majority of the entries. The dictionary contains many synonyms of each term, with the definition(s) and notes shown in the synonym of preference of the Academy. Numerous interesting notes about suitability, obsolescence, incorrect forms, or preferences about many terms. |
