Bio

I am a freelance translator of Spanish origin, with Spanish an Catalan as mother languages, who moved to Lithiania some 11 years ago. Lithuanian an Russian are, since then, my everyday languages.

I studied Translation and Interpretation at Barcelona's Autonomous University, where I began translating profit-free for several NGO's. Since then, I had to combine my translation activity with other jobs, reason why I am rather an old-fashioned translator, whose deep knowledge of the language, practice in several forms and strong sense of commitment toward the task and the client over the years made a real professional over the knowledge of technology.

For clients interested in my skills on Lithuanian language I'd like to say that my husband, who is native of this country and works as a text corrector, helps me to make of the target text a product of real quality.

As a matter of interest I could point out that before moving to Lithuania I worked as a Russian specialist in an English-speaking team for Dow Jones & Company, and I volunteered social worker helping the Russian-speaking immigrant community  (former Soviet Union people, of various origins) in Spain since 2003 til 2012, when I left the country.

A keen reader, curious by nature, I offer good quality text and consistent translations but, over all, a honest and serious approach to my work and a responsible attitude towards the client.
