Though I will never tell you, I still do not show people how sick I am with a smile too convincing to see through.

I like trying new things, as you know. Or do you not, I actually do not care. It was a creative day, I wanted to make something, something clever, something to satisfy you. I do recall the ingredients of that particular fried rice. Oyster sauce and onions and eggs. I added each ingredient and beamed at my finished work. Yes, it was a little soggy, a little unfurnished, but I was proud nevertheless. I scooped it out for everyone to eat as an early dinner, I was smiling outside but worry and seeds of doubt were growing in my brain. You ate a few bites and took it straight to the food dispenser and threw it out. You may never know, but at that moment a wave so strong it could knock my heart out of my ribcage washed over me, it was a sad wave, a disappointed wave. Even though that sadness turned into rage in later years, as I reminisce that evening, I see myself locked up in my room with a pair of large scissors, not having the bravery to kill either way, praying for God to make a path to take me up to the sky, to end this pain I couldn’t form in words.

Imagination is a monster, you see, and it feeds on your brain, until you imagine objects being thrown everywhere and broken and there’s nothing left in your brain but that. The sole sound of the door clicking as you came home became a trigger in my brain, your screams and cursing were others. I told you this sometime ago, my legs shake when you are in nearby capacity. I hit them, punch them, cut them so they would stop, stop moving against my will, but nothing helps.
