I am a native speaker of Turkish with near native competence in English. My background is quite an

- I finished medical school in Istanbul.

- I got my graduate degree in linguistics in California, and spent some years in academia as a lecturer.

- I worked as a professional services consultant in the enterprise search and knowledge management space for many years.

I am particularly interested in working as a translator in any of these areas, as well as anything of general nature, arts, travel, history, music, and prose literature.
