Bio
A polyglot professional who has 14 years of experience in translations, proofreading, transcreations and in live interpretation.
Over the course of my career, I have translated a wide range of documents, from academic articles, to books, patents, apps, HTML files, and much more.
I have been working as a translator since 2010, I have done numerous translation, transcreation, subtitling, proofreading and live interpretation jobs and I have received great feedback from my clients.
My work as a translator started pretty early in life, since I was alphabetized in four languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English and Dutch, and I had to translate most conversations between my family members.
My mother is Brazilian and my father was half-Dutch and half-Spanish, so they enrolled me into an international school where I could be alphabetized not only in their native languages, but also in English.
When I was 10th grade (in 2005), I started studying French, German, Italian & Romanian, and I was able to achieve C2 level of proficiency those three languages after I graduated from university, in 2014.
I started working as a translator back in 2010, right after I started my bachelor's degree, since it was highly necessary since I needed to submit essays and a lot of my sources were either in Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch and in Italian.
Thus, I earned the ability to carefully do translations, proofreading jobs, interpretation and transcreation.
