Sheila Teixeira is the chief-editor of Light Translations, specialized in English and Brazilian Portuguese. I'm a Brazilian-British national with over 15 years of professional experience in these two countries. I've a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Brazil, a postgraduate degree in marketing from the CIM in England, where I lived for +10 years, and a Digital Marketing diploma from NYU in New York, where I also lived. I'm certified by Cambridge, holding the CAE diploma in English.

Highlights in my career as a translator include being the interpreter (consecutive) for Ozzy Osbourne in Brazil, in 2011, Cirque Du Soleil in Brazil press conferences, amongst others. I've experience as an editor, being in charge of the Brazilian translators team for all the Silversea Cruises marketing material including website, B2B and press material.

I specialized in general business, marketing, advertising and PR, and the Entertainment industry, as I've already worked with the localization of high-profile multinational brand campaigns in Brazil. I also work with IT as Cisco is one of my fixed clients and financial services, with Goldman Sacks, amongst other clients in various sectors. I ensure accurate translations, best language adaptations and transcreation services for advertising. I currently work as a reviewer at Google Sao Paulo offices through Vistatec.
