1 Select your sample size for drop equivalency.
1 mL sample
5 mL sample

1 drop = 5 ppm ClO2
1 drop = 1 ppm ClO2
1 drop = 0.5 ppm ClO2
1 drop = 0.25 ppm ClO2
1 drop = 0.1 ppm ClO2
Rinse vial 3 times with solution to be tested, but DO NOT AD THE SAMPLE to the vial.
2 Add 10 drops of C/D RGT 1 (PI1410). Swirl to mix.
3 Add 10 drops of C/D RGT 2 (CA3002). Swirl to mix.
4 Add sample to vial and swirl to mix. For 1 mL or 5 mL samples, use the sampling syringe (0-5cc, cc=mL). The solution will turn yellow if Chlorine Dioxide is present.
5 Add 2 drops of C/D RGT 3 (ST5005) and swirl to mix. The solution will turn a blue-black color.
6 Add C/D RGT 4 (ST2775), dropwise, while swirling, until the sample color changes from blueblack to colorless.
Record the number of drops.

4 Adicione la muestra en el frasco y gire el frasco para mezclar. Para muestras de 1 ml o 5 ml, use la jeringa para muestras (0-5cc, cc=ml). La solución cambia a color amarillo en presencia de dióxido de cloro.
5 Adicione 2 gotas del reactivo 3 C/D (ST5005) y gire el frasco para mezclar. La solución cambiará a un color azul-negro.
6 Adicione el reactivo 4 C/D (ST2775), gota a gota, girando el frasco hasta que la muestra de color azul-negro se vuelva incolora.
Registre el número de gotas.
