Translation - English About us:
In Summary
Founded in 1991, Enfants d’Asie (Children of Asia), a non-partisan organization without religious affiliation, cares for orphans and children in distress in Asia and the Southeast. The organization intervenes in fifty centers (children villages, schools, homes and orphanages) in Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and Vietnam.
The organization ensures the essential needs (nutrition, lodging, medical care and prevention, physical affection) of underprivileged children in order to allow them to construct a better future; we provide schooling, professional education, educational grants, technical classes, French and English lessons, micro-financing, and other vital services.
Today, thanks to sponsors and donors, the organization aids nearly 10,000 children through a group of programs, ensuring overall care for the world’s most fragile citizens.

The general assembly approves expenses and program proposals.
Independents accounting experts in France (Cabinet SFEC) and Cambodia (Cabinet KAK), certify are finances.
Our philosophy
Within the four countries where we are present, Enfants d’Asie works in collaboration with local orgainzations. These organizations support, coordinate and evaluate the impact of programs which are developed and enhanced by the local community.
This cooperative approach, ensures a full understanding of country needs, contributes to local development via training, and empowers local partners.
The presence of Enfants d’Asie coordinators in the field, and regular missions by administrators in the country, ensure quality control and follow-up on investments and activities.
Education : A priority for Enfants d’Asie
The access to education is a fundamental right written in the International Convention of Rights for Children (article 28). An education gives each child the means to become an autonomous adult and a responsible participant in the development of his or her country.
Enfants d’Asie programs offer children and adolescents the opportunity of a different future, one which gives them an active role in outcome of their own lives.
Even though Enfants d’Asie programs remains centered on education for the youngest, the association equally supports education and training for adolescents. In our 4 countries of intervention, Enfants d’Asie gives grants for career training and higher learning to almost 500 students.
The challenges are common: direction, education costs, difficulty inserting into the professional domain, etc.
In order to encourage personal initiative, Enfants d’Asie has also developed micro-financing programs for young adults.
To ensure that schooling remains their principle focus, the organization develops numerous programs to support essential needs of children: medical care, housing, nutrition, and first-aid products.
