Source text - French A partir de 1912, Picasso utilise la technique du collage comme une pratique récurrente sous des formes diverses tout au long de son oeuvre. Ces papiers collés sont tout autant des espaces d’expérimentation que l’aboutissement de recherches essentielles. Dans, Guitare, verre, bouteille de vieux marc (1913) l’espace et la forme classique, sont destructurés, alors que les différents matériaux employés construisent un nouveau mode de représentation. C’est l’œuvre en train de se faire, comme la Femme nue allongée (1955) qui avec ses différentes parties épinglées semble en mouvement.
Translation - English From 1912 onwards, Picasso used the collage technique in various forms as a recurrent practice throughout his oeuvre. These paper collages are not only spaces for experiment, they are also the outcome of essential research. In Guitar, glass, bottle of vieux marc (1913) space and classical form are fragmented, whereas the different materials used construct a new mode of representation. It is a work in progress, as is the Nude woman reclining (1955) whom, with her different pinned parts, appears to be in movement
