TONY T Translates What You Mean Straight Out
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile page! I hope this is going to be the last profile for you to review.
Here in this section of my Proz.com profile page, I would like to take advantage of its freedom and further personalize the profile. For any formal information, please kindly refer to uploaded CVs or request a copy of my Translation Portfolio with more details about my service!
Ever since I was initiated to the art of translation when I was asked to transcribe and translate for my father who was a senior editorial writer of a major newspaper when I was 25, my exploration in cross-cultural communication has extended into different fields over more than a decade, of which almost the half I spent in the US while attending a school for a degree in music that has been my love and passion.
Despite the contradiction, no option was left for me but to explore in the cross-cultural communication as a licensed real estate salesperson/translator/interpreter for the love of music through a series of difficulties including 9/11 attack and the devastation thereafter. After the experience as a professional translator/interpreter as of the year 2002, the list of clients includes numbers of ministries and ministers from different countries, major companies and other organizations, asking services for their materials that represent their respective nations out for the rest of the world or that can be found on the Web or in shops and stores around the globe.
Aside from my professional career as a freelance translator/interpreter, I enjoy playing the guitar in private gigs while composing music, as well as shooting photos using film/digital SLRs and rangefinders. Here I include some recent photos.
(Top Right: Bicycle, Pentax MZ-3; SMC-A*85mm F1.4; Fujichrome Neopan Presto) (Top Left: Jogashima Sunset,Mamiya645 Pro TL; Sekor C45mm F2.8 N; Fujichrome Provia 100F) (Bottom: Ferris at Arakawa Amusement Park over Sumida River; Pentax K-m, SMC-A28mm F2.8)
Well the pictures may be irrelevant to translation business, but are definitely of great help in presenting who I am!
Again, thank you for reviewing my profile, and I look forward to being at your service very soon!
Best,
Toni T
