The third, April edition of the First Friday Open Office series will be held on April 1. Our special guests will be a globetrotting translator family, who will give some pretty cool tips on what "free" in "freelancer" means.

As usual, we'll start around 13:30 but you are welcome to arrive at your convenience. During the afternoon, we'll discuss alignment – a powerful technique for creating a useful language resource: a translation memory from a source document and its translation – be it your previous translations or reliable r4eferences found on the internet.

We'll start the usual buffet-type dinner around 7 o'clock – for which partners and children are also welcome.
