Edinburg powwow postponed Dec 15, 2001

Since a specific location and time has not materialized for the Edinburg powwow (the perso who proposed the event had to back out), I have postponed it tentatively for Jan 19.

Since a number of people have expressed interest but no one has taken charge, you might just suggest your favorite location and see who comes...

Anyway, best wishes for the holidays.

Simply asked for the "Proz Powwow" table when you arrive.

successful Edinburgh powwow Jan 19, 2002

Dear All,

The first Edinburgh powwow took place today - thanks to everybody who turned up - and it was great fun!

It was interesting to meet people who work in different languages and fields of expertise.

Let's do it again some time soon.

The Edinburgh Powwow 19/01/02 was great fun, and it was a pleasure to meet new folk. I look forward to other Powwows later this year.

We discussed possibly setting one up in the autumn at a place more readily available to other ProZ-ers in the central belt.
