Hi all,

Does anyone know a good shoe size converter site?
I need to convert children's shoe sizes from Argentine to US sizes. I have already found some shoe size converters but they do not include Argentina.

Thanks in advance for any help on the matter.

Argentina - Europe, children's sizes Jun 30, 2007

Thanks Maria Lucia. Do you know if European children's shoe sizes are equivalent to the Argentine or Uruguayan?

After looking inside my kids' shoes Jun 30, 2007

which were purchased in Buenos Aires in December, the European sizes seem one number higher than the Argentine ones...I don't know if thr brand would make a difference in some cases as well...

I know some sizes Jul 1, 2007

Don't have a converter, but I can give you the following conversions which may be useful to check if your choice converter is accurate. These are adult USA sizes I bought which fit the following Argentine sizes:

Arg. 36 = USA 6 (female)
Arg. 39 = USA 9 (female)
Arg. 44 = USA 11 (male)
Arg. 45 = USA 11 and a half (male)

An with those "boats" to lug home, I had to buy another suitcase!

If you need to send the shoes to friend or family, get them to send you a fax of the foot outline with the measurements (in case of fax distortion). A bit primitive, but it works.
