I am sorry if this topic is also posted on the Italian forum, but for the past week or so, I have been getting mails for Kudos or questions etc. with the heading "[email protected]" is this a new procedure or is there problems with my server/connections/PC? | | |

But I moved this to ProZ.com Technical Support - this has for sure nothing to do with your hardware.

Hi Michael,
Please forward an example of such an email message to [email protected], and then submit a support ticket indicating that you have done so: http://proz.com/support?mode=ask&type=mail
A sample message will help support staff to troubleshoot this problem.
Thanks,

Hi all,
I have been receiving notifications from bounce-handler at proz dot com for quite some time, but never as a header - are you sure this is in the header?

Hi everyone,
Most email notifications sent by ProZ.com are sent from [email protected]. (bounce-handler is a reference to a robot that parses "bounced" email messages and removes the undeliverable email addresses from ProZ.com mailing lists.)

As Ralf notes, this is not new. But normally, a friendly name such as "ProZ.com Forums" is shown in the "From" header of email notifications, rather than showing only the [email protected] email address.
A glitch was introduced recently that caused a few email notifications not to show a friendly "From" name. I believe I have now corrected that problem. Please let me know if you continue to see strange "From" addresses in your email notifications.
