"Directeur d’une agence de traduction, l'auteur a identifié les principales difficultés que devait affronter sa clientèle, issue pour l’essentiel du milieu des affaires et de la fonction publique. Les 65 leçons que comportent Petits trucs d’anglais tiennent non seulement compte d’aspects spécifiquement linguistiques, mais aussi de la dimension culturelle qu’implique le passage d’une langue à l’autre (le cadre de référence change). Son ouvrage se présente donc sous un angle résolument pratique. C’est ainsi que le livre a été conçu sous forme de leçons pouvant être lues dans l’ordre ou le désordre, au gré du temps dont on dispose ou des besoins spécifiques d’une situation donnée. L’humour, c’est connu, est un allié pédagogique de première force. L’auteur s’en sert à bon escient, connaissant les travers spontanés des francophones du Québec quand ils entreprennent d’apprendre l’anglais, notamment en ce qui a trait à leur usage inconscient d’anglicismes, tendance qui peut être ici récupérée à profit. À l’inverse il montre que l’anglais procède en partie du français. Les expressions privilégiées par l’auteur renvoient aux situations d’affaires. Comme cela constitue un riche vivier de métaphores (comme les sports) dans l’usage courant, chacun y trouvera son profit. "

Primarily aimed at French-speaking translators (although there are few chapters about French words that baffle English translators), English speakers can learn a lot too about French and about their own language through the difficulties French-speakers experience.
Here are some sample names of the 65 chapters:

Looks an interesting book.
But by any chance has anyone bought the electronic version? The fact that the sample PDF is unviewable doesn't inspire confidence...

I don't know what you mean by that - if you go to the provided link, then click on "Extrait PDF" (right below the book cover image), the PDF opens correctly. I've read through the sample text, and I'm thinking about buying it...
