390 - Generic term for IBM\'s mainframe architecture announced on 9/90. The ES/9000 product suite is the first implementation of the 390 architecture. The suite includes 18 models spanning performance from 2 MIPS through 230 MIPS. The ES/900 suite replaces the 9370, 4391, and 3090 product families.
