preparatory college
Given your context I'd go for "preparatory colleges" (=dershane); colleges that prepare students for university (e.g. for entrance exams or school leaving exams needed for university).
Some are colloquially known as "crammers" in the UK

Forgot to add that they are private colleges; "college" is important as "preparatory schools" are different; being private primary level schools that act as "feeder" schools for fee-paying schools.
